Gwenpen (Vertical + Horizontal)

A simple pen with slight noise and texture. I made this pen using real images of my micron pen strokes and digital editing to create a fuzzy but solid inking pen! When you apply less pressure, you can see the texture so it isn't a realistic brush, its a fun inking brush for those that don't like the very smooth of typical inking brushes.

Compared to my Monokuma brush, this brush is more opaque and more responsive to pressure. It works best (in my opinion) when kept at around 25px. At this size, it looks similar to a default inking brush when viewed from afar, and reveals the fuzziness when zoomed in! I personally love zooming into people's work and seeing noise and artifacts, so this brush was made inspired them.

Why two brushes?
I love working with vertical brushes, but sometimes when it comes to linework, there will be some areas you'll want to thicken up. Using a combination of the horizontal and vertical brushes will allow you to control your line weight with ease without having to go over the lines over and over. I made the example image mainly with the vertical brush, and then later went back in with the horizontal brush to create the thicker lines around the edges, under the mouth, etc. Basically, it solves most the issues I have while doing linework, hopefully it solves yours too! (Or maybe you'll just prefer one brush over the other lol)

Unzip file if needed.
Drag from your file explorer to your brushes tab in CSP.
